I ordered two of this costume so that a friend of mine and I could dress as Stormtroopers for Halloween. First, the costume itself is pretty much like the picture, except that when you get it you will have to work at shaping the foam a little bit to make it look right. Also, there are no pieces that are not shown in the picture. The costume is one piece that velcroes up the back, and there is no foam on the back. The belt has no way to fasten in the back other than to tie it together. The suit is very loose-fitting without any kind of modification, and looks strange hanging on me, even though I am six feet tall. There are no boots or boot coverings, even though it looks like they are there in the picture. The helmet is cheap plastic with clear lenses that looks good from the front, as in the picture, but looks bad from any other angle. All in all, it’s not a bad costume for the price, and if you’re not going to a major Star Wars event or a convention or something, it will do the trick just fine.
As far as the actual items I received, one of the two costumes was exactly as described above. The other, however, came in a package that had obviously been previously opened, and the costume had been shoved back in the package carelessly, causing the foam pieces to have unsightly creases in many places. It was also dirty, to the point that the belt was yellowed like it had been sitting in the sun or in a smokey environment for too long. also, the helmet was bent and cracked in a couple of places and missing parts of the velcro that hold it together. In my opinion, it is obvious that I was sold an item that had been used and returned. I will never purchase from this retailer again, and I recommend that you get this costume from somebody else, even if you have to spend a little extra.
This product looks just like the picture, but the picture looks better than it actually is. The costume is a one piece jumpsuit that does not really fit properly. The helmet is very cheap plastic that fits together with velcro. I used it as a gag costume so it was sufficient, but I could not recommend this product for anything more than a joke. This would never work at a convention like comicon.
The costume is great for the price. Exactly what one would expect for the money.
