I spent about 30minutes trying to open the LIGHTsaber. I went back to the reviews and saw that it does not light up. Very disappointing. It is very durable and my kids like to battle with them. It would be so much more fun and cooler if it had a light.
This is an okay toy, but I guess in all the rave reviews for it, I missed the fact that it has no light source. My son was disappointed, but still plays with it from time to time.
I bought this lightsaber a few days ago and it is sweeet! The blade goes all the way down, unlike the electronic one. It can clip to your pants and the blade is much more durable than the electronic saber. There is a lock to keep the blade inside the hilt. You activate the lock by pushing down on the blade when its in the hilt. To take out the blade, you simply slide down the button and flick your wrist. The hilt is Anakin’s hilt. If you have enough money, buy this saber!
I like the light side.The Sith only use their anger.Like Anakin says in Episode III,I see in the lies of the Jedi.I don’t fear the Sith as you do.So,I got blue.Me and my friend fight very fast.Just like in the movies.The blue lightsaber is very good.You get a fine grip on it so you can battle.It doesn’t light up,but it is still fun.I t looks like Anakin’s lightsaber.Fulfill your destiny!MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!
I bought this toy the day star wars came out and I fell in love with it. First of all the hilt is stiled just like Anakins lightsaber from Return of the Sith to the Empire Strikes back. It has a belt clip that you can hook on your belt, the blade goes all the way into the hilt, and it is lots of fun to fool around with. This a great toy to keep you on your heels for a while if you are saving up for an FX lightsaber. I have a couple comments. I think the hilt should be a little bigger and the blade a little longer. I also think that it woul be cool if the blade glowed in the dark. Overall I think this a fantastic toy and if you have time run out to the store and buy one or two.
