Just got it for Christmas, so I don’t know longevity but immediately it was falling apart. Before that though, putting it together was an issue. Some pieces were so tiny that they broke when trying to shove them in and some pieces didn’t fit well together. To resolve this, I just used a ton of superglue to keep everything together, it doesn’t look great but it is usable now. Maybe this is only meant to be a model but my son wants to use it in his Star Wars figure play. I think most kids would.

I bought this and the Millennium Falcon as gifts for my nephew. My fault for not realizing they were kits, but cool bonus–we could assemble them together! Unfortunately, these toys are absolute flimsy crap. What you end up with literally falls apart if picked up, let alone if zoomed around with, as a young Star Wars fan will of course want to do. The vehicles might remain assembled if drenched in epoxy, but that will have to wait for another day. MAJOR disappointment! Do NOT spend your money on these trashy kits.

Allowing my grandson to build it and than play with it made these toys the most valued to him.
